Why we love these long boots from Veredus:
The Veredus Guarnieri Boot is the first riding boot from Italian brand Veredus. Famous for marrying cutting edge technology with the latest materials and stylish good looks, the Veredus equine boot collection has long been the choice of top international riders and serious amateurs world-wide and the Veredus Guarnieri boot is set to follow in their footsteps!
Combining traditional Italian boot manufacturing skills with new technology as developed through snow board boots. The result of over two years in development, the Guarnieri boot takes inspiration from one of the greatest Italian violin makers in history: Giuseppe Antonio Guarnieri del Ges, translated via a clever fastening system that mimics the strings of a violin, yet offers the ultimate in fit and performance. This series of strings incorporate Boa technology, which is applied to a special fastening system called the Boa System, which allows for a precise and uniform measure of the fit of the boot to the calf, eliminating key pressure points and guaranteeing precision, ease and speed of use, comfort and safety. The boot can be fitted exactly to each rider and is adaptive to personal preferences such as adherence, allowing the rider to adjust according to use e.g. walking, training, jumping or racing and also accommodates calf muscle development and heat associated leg swelling - unlike traditional boots.
An adjustable spur support element offers two positions, offering a personal preference of high or low positioning, while an internal protective layer protects the rider's leg. An X Grip System offers increased adherence of the boot when in the saddle and helps to encourage stability and the correct positioning of the rider. The inside outer section of the boot is made from a tough man made material that is used in mountain climbing boots and provides extra grip and durability when the horse is sweaty or wet. A clever Elastic Strap at the height of the instep, also adds further comfort to the boot. TCS sole technology offers the perfect anatomical shape of a sole combined with the special polyurethane mix, making the fit extremely comfortable. The Anti-Torsion System also reduces the strain put on the foot, reducing the sensation of fatigue and stress. Its unique design is aimed at optimising adherence to the ordinary stirrups and the unique upturned-pyramid design guarantees perfect stability of the boot in the stirrup.
