Ariat Chaps are available in a variety of sizes varying in calf and height measurements.¬† A correctly fitting Ariat Chaps will provide support and protection for a comfortable riding experience.
To ensure you purchase the correct size Ariat Chaps you will need to measure your calf and height.¬† Please follow the instructions below.
Calf – In your normal riding attire, i.e in your jodhpurs or breeches.¬† Measure around the widest part of your calf.
Height – Just in your socks (with no shoes on) measure the back height of your lower leg.¬† From the floor in a straight line the back of the knee.
Using the Ariat Chap Sizing Chart below you will be able to find which size matches up to your measurements.¬† If you try on this size you can judge the size and fit from there.
Your Ariat Chaps need to fit snuggly and be reasonably tall to start with.¬† A good guide is that they don’t zip up to easily to begin with and you don’t have a baggy appearance.¬† The height of your Ariat Chaps needs to be just below your knee.¬† As with wear and riding, they will drop up to 2 inches.
