Ariat Chaps are available in a variety of sizes varying in calf and height measurements.  A correctly fitting Ariat Chaps will provide support and protection for a comfortable riding experience.
To ensure you purchase the correct size Ariat Chaps you will need to measure your calf and height.  Please follow the instructions below.
Calf – In your normal riding attire, i.e in your jodhpurs or breeches.¬† Measure around the widest part of your calf.
Height – Just in your socks (with no shoes on) measure the back height of your lower leg.¬† From the floor in a straight line the back of the knee.
Using the Ariat Chap Sizing Chart below you will be able to find which size matches up to your measurements.  If you try on this size you can judge the size and fit from there.
Your Ariat Chaps need to fit snuggly and be reasonably tall to start with.¬† A good guide is that they don’t zip up to easily to begin with and you don’t have a baggy appearance.¬† The height of your Ariat Chaps needs to be just below your knee.¬† As with wear and riding, they will drop up to 2 inches.
