Stud girths provide protection for your horse when jumping.  Protecting your horses stomach area when they bend there front legs.  This guard area protects his under area from puncture wounds when he wears studs.  Or from bruising stomach area.  To keep your horse jumping happily we advise wearing a stud girth at all times when jumping.

Stud girths ae available in two styles.  The short stud girth which is used on long strap close contact jump saddles.  Or the Long Stud Girths which are used with short strap jump or general purpose saddles.

The Kentaur Casis Sheepskin Stud Girth has a detachable sheepskin liner.  This soft sheepskin is perfect for sensitive or thin skinned horses or cold backed horses.  The sheepskin peels off on a Velcro strip and is machine washable on a cool wool wash.
