The Rider looks clean and smart with minimal detail and no sparkle.
Let’s start from the top.¬† With protecting your head with a Riding Hat – Our preference is a Jockey Helmet.¬† Therefore a hat without a peak.¬† Such as the Charles Owen J3¬†Jockey Skull .¬† This is usually accompanied by a Velvet hat cover.¬† This provides you with a traditional and smart look.¬† Along with a safe protection of your head.
The Rider would wear a traditional tweed jacket.¬† Or adults can wear Navy or Black Hunting Coats.¬† A Hunt Shirt would be worn with a stock.¬† The stock has become traditional dress for Eventing and hunting.¬† This also has another feature.¬† The stock is worn as protection and support for the riders neck. The rider would wear beige breeches.¬† A popular choice for ladies is the Tallyho Aylesbury breeches .¬† They provide a waterproof outer to keep your legs dry.¬† The inner is fleece lined.¬† Helping to keep your legs warm through out the cold Winter days.¬† The full sea provides a secure grip in the saddle.
Footwear – The rider would wear plain long riding boots.¬† Or a pair of smart short riding boots and half chaps.¬† A popular choice is the Ariat Contour Dress Long Riding Boots.¬† A plain fronted long riding boots with a secure zip up the back.¬† The stretch panel alongside the zip provides a smart and elegant fit.
The horse wears plain and minimal tack.¬† Traditionally the horse wears a Brown or Black Sheepskin Numnah.¬† Such as the Lemieux Half Lined Numnah.¬† These excellent numnah’s provide the horse with protection through his back.¬† The Sheepskin offers cushioning and comfort.¬† A traditional Hunting breastplate is worn.¬† This provides a neck strap for those emergency situations.
